Here are a few of the genealogy links that I enjoy.
www.usgenweb.com is one of my favorites. You have probably been there but I pretty much use this site everyday.
The reference section of the Alabama archives is nice too.
Alabama obituary links might have something you are looking for.
Genforum is a great place to post quires. If you are going to leave a message make sure you leave an Emil address that you plan on keeping for a long time, so people can contact you when they see you notice months from now.
And of course there is rootsweb. State reference is a really good place to check on this site. Just pull the page down until you see the list of States.
Another place is the Genealogy Home Page. It has some nice links.
On www.amazon.com you can get second hand genealogy books for a small amount. I like to go there and see what book are for sale. I rather enjoy books!
If you wonder about web sites for a special topic then you can always go to cyndislist and see what she has.
